What do these services cost?
Our competitive rate of service and volume discounts make Woodgate Digital one of the most affordable digitizing services. Quotes from 9 leading competitors average $1045 for my initial, 45-tape project. With Woodgate Digital Pricing, the same order would only cost $675 - and I had a LOT of tapes! When you invest in Woodgate Digital for your project, you, too, can achieve the highest quality results and save hundreds of dollars.
$15 / Standard Tape
$15 is the rate for a standard tape of any supported format up to one hour (60 minutes) in length. This price per tape is cheaper than other leading transfer businesses - and less than half the cost of some competitors.
$7.50 / Short Tape
Tapes with fewer than 5 minutes of usable footage only cost $7.50 - just half the price of a standard tape. Tapes that turn out to be completely blank will incur a $1 fee for the efforts to thoroughly check the tape for content.
$25 / Long Tape
Tapes with more than 60 minutes of usable footage will cost $25. Many video tape brands and formats do not contain enough film to exceed this length.
Volume Discounts
If you send more than 15 tapes, you will receive a discount of 10% off your entire order, regardless of the length of those tapes. For every 15 additional tapes you send, you will receive an additional 10% off, up to 50%.
$10 / USB or
$5 / DVD
Every order will have their choice of USB flash drive ($10 each) or DVD ($5 each) containing the digital media. Additional flash drives or DVDs may be purchased for up to 30 days after the completion of your order.
